Event GPS tracking allows you to:

• bring your own device (MAProgress supports SPOT devices, Garmin inReaches, Somewear, Bivy Stick, zoleo and YB devices),
• use a cell-based tracker (if the route has mobile coverage) or,
• hire a  SPOT device from MAProgress (MAProgress has an extensive tracker fleet in New Zealand, Australia and USA.  If you are outside these areas, please contact MAProgress to check availability).

Live Tracking Mobile App for iPhone or Android.

MAProgress uses your mobile devices GPS coordinates and state-of-the-art GPS location data to report the real-time whereabouts of your location.  Our mobile app will keep track of your GPS movements via our services on http://app.maprogress.com.  You can track your adventures and share this information with friends and family.  

You can use our tracking app with an iPhone or Android when in cell service.  Even if you’re out of cell service, your phone will continue tracking and then transmit your locations once you’re back in range.  This would be useful for club races, endurance training or family adventures.
